What if the matter is outside our practice areas?
The agent says so politely and, if you provide one, shares a referral contact — it never books a consultation the firm cannot take.
Does it check for conflicts before booking?
It collects the opposing-party names you specify and holds the booking as provisional until your team clears the conflict check.
Can lawyers block time themselves?
